SID Services List

Noise Monitoring
Sanchez Industrial Design (SID) has the expertise and customized portable noise monitoring kits to do data collection anywhere from busy urban areas to remote locations.

Attended Measurements:  Having experts in the field ensures that your results will be
accurate.  In all measurements, other noise sources can contaminate the noise data
you are seeking.  Using specially designed log sheets or the Source Identification
Software, our staff can differentiate between noise sources in the field.  This allows
for your data report to be labeled clearly and concisely showing where the noise
events you want recorded have taken place.  SID has done attended measurements
for many agencies including the National Park Service, Milwaukee General Mitchell
Airport, and the Wisconsin Public Service Corporation.

Short and Long-Term Unattended Measurements:  Certain measurements need to
be done over a longer period which does not allow for an attendant to be present
at all times. Portable heavy-duty, weatherproof noise monitoring kits ensure that
your data will be accurate regardless of the length of time in the field or the weather
conditions.  RF modems allow for your data to be downloaded remotely and
our data recorders and solar panel arrays ensure that no data loss or power
outages will occur.  Sanchez Industrial  Design's  unattended measurements clients
include the US Army Corps of Engineers and the National Park Service.

Air and Water Quality Monitoring
SID's use of environmental sensors in the field includes the use of a new encoded photometric infrared (EP-IR) analyzer that provides low-levels of detection of an array of over 250 volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) parameters for both air and water quality monitoring.  This sturdy, field-designed chemical analyzer is revolutionizing the way real-time environmental data is collected, analyzed, and presented for effective project management and risk assessment.

This photometric spectral unit and other reliable electronic sensors in the field can provide continuous accurate data from remote or urban locations via means of transmittal from SID Inc.'s data platform and common technology such as Wi-Fi, radio frequency (RF) communication, modems, and even satellite transmittal applications powered by solar panels.  SID Inc. has such satellite and solar systems in very remote, mountainous locations.  Therefore, data monitoring on a local, regional, or global scale is an easily accessible and can provide a wealth of site information.

Sanchez Industrial Design Inc. is partnering with another technology company, Aspetrics Inc., who developed the encoded photometric infrared (EP-IR) analyzer.  For more information regarding the capabilities of this in-field chemical analyzer, please go to www.aspectrics.com.
