Interested in getting more use out of your old or new Larson Davis Monitors? You should consider the Eco-Ears Data Logger from Sanchez Industrial Design Inc. The Eco-Ears Data Logger is a fully embedded Linux-based Data Logger with the following features and capabilities:

- Software to extract data from serial devices such as the Larson Davis Monitors in real-time.

- Stores data to SD card and USB memory stick simultaneously. Easily extract data with a computer connection or by swapping the USB memory stick.

- Remote communication via the internet using cell modem, RF modem, or Wi-Fi.

- Real-time data display and query of settings when using a remote terminal software such as SOCK.EXE

- Real-time data display via the Eco-Ears web site. A monthly subscription to this service allows viewing of data in real-time, and can be set-up for automatic daily uploads of the data from your monitor to an FTP site. Weekly or monthly reports can also be provided at an additional cost.

- Low power consumption: 12VDC at 0.150mA.

Additional plug-in modules or features offered with the Eco-Ears Data Logger:

- GPS Trimble Module: For precise time- stamping of your data or location information and speed if in a moving vehicle.

- Weather Sensor: Vaisala WMT-52 (ultrasonic sensor - wind speed, wind direction, and system voltage).

- Weather Sensor: Vaisala WXT-520 (ultrasonic sensor - wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, precipitation, and system voltage).

- Eco-Ears A/D Module: Provides an additional 6 serial ports, 10 A/D inputs, 10 digital inputs, 4 device control switches, and 1 switching relay (12 VDC).

- Digital Audio Recorder: Provides for recording of audio in MP3 or Wave(.wav) format.

- WAVE: 44.1/48/88.2/96 kHz, 16/24 bits.

- MP3 (MPEG-1 A Layer 3): 44.1/48 kHz, 64/96/128/160/192/224/320 kbps.
